STEM Week 2018-19 was another great success this year and, again, was a favourite among all of the Key Stage 2 students! A big thank you to the parents, families and carers who came to the STEM Week Show on Friday - pictures will be available on the School's Facebook page shortly. In Mr Porter's class, students we challenged with making a sculpture using only the materials they were provided with, and of course their imaginations! Students were divided into houses, with Year 3's and 4's working side by side. As well as making a clever sculpture, they needed to think about the SLOs as they worked together. Students voted on members of their team who displayed great use of the outcomes. But that wasn't the only voting happening! Parents, families, carers, and Upper Key Stage 2 students were invited to vote on the most appealing sculpture. There were all sorts of wonderful designs on display which is a credit to the students who were able to work together and produce an attractive finished product! Congratulations to Nana B (Y4), Pancake (Y4), Rose, (Y4), Malcolm (Y3D), and Aron (Y3P) who received the most votes for their popular 'Party Pig!' There will be some stars coming your way! Well done to all of the students in Key Stage 2, especially Year 3P, who earned lots of stars for a wide range of SLOs throughout the week! And thanks again to everyone who attended the end of week show, the children really appreciated your support!
